There will be considerable time spent discussing case studies. This lecture will help you be more confident in your acupuncture treatment with your fertility patients.

This lecture will review of the symptomatology, diagnosis, treatment and future of endometriosis in infertility patients. Attendees will understand the signs and symptoms endometriosis and a review of the existing diagnostic tests that work and what doesn’t. Review treatments and future therapeutic techniques for endometriosis.

Dr. Bev Young, MD, FRCPC Mental Health Struggles While Trying to Conceive

In this lecture Dr Young MD will focus on how to speak with patients struggling with mental health concerns. Discussion around supporting patients through the highs and lows of fertility treatments. How to help manage anxious patients and the safety of different psychotropic medications during the preconception with case examples. Discuss when it is time to make the referral.

Dr. Jessica Liu ND and Dr. Nora Pope FCP Endometritis: How Antimicrobial strategies can restore fertility

Endometritis is gaining more attention as a cause of poor reproductive outcomes. Chronic endometritis can contribute to obstetric and neonatal complications, recurrent pregnancy loss and repeated implantation failure.

This lecture explores how Botanical Pharmacology and Allopathic Pharmacology can help address this obstacle to cure, by normalizing the menstrual cycle, addressing gynecological infections and restoring fertility in patients with endometritis.

Cases will be discussed accompanied by Menstrual Cycle Charts to present a visual representation of changes seen before and after treatment.
